Hiya, I’m Ally.
A psychology student, lets just say I read a bit too many self help books and listen to one to many self help podcast and now Ive ended up here somehow?
I am a mental health writer, and someone who’s been through it, too.
Me, Myself & Therapy is a space where I blend personal reflection with psychological insight. It’s where I explore the overlap between what I’ve lived, what I’ve learned, and what I’m still figuring out.
By day, I study the brain and how we cope. By night, I write poetry and fiction, which is often dark, raw, and full of heart. You’ll find pieces of both here. The academic, the emotional, and the artistic sides of what it means to be human.
This isn’t expert advice, it’s lived experience woven with what I’m learning in my psychology studies. Sometimes raw. Sometimes poetic. Always honest… sometimes a bit to brutally honest.
But hey what do they say, honestly is the best policy.
Life can be a bit of a bitch sometimes… confusing, messy, and unfair. I don’t have it all figured out, and it’s okay if you don’t either.
Thanks for being here.
You’re not alone, and you’re allowed to evolve.
It’s Okay if your not Okay
And remember it’s okay, if you’re not okay. The healing process is a long and sometimes tiring journey. But you’re not alone in this. If any part of what you read here stirs something heavy in you, please reach out. help is always around the corner.
